Whether you want a bold statement piece or something timeless and elegant, you’ll have a wide choice of beautiful fabrics to suit your style. In this morning workshop, you will be introduced to the materials, tools, and fabric choices needed to create your own lampshade. You will receive hands-on, step-by-step instruction as you build your lamp, with expert guidance from Aimée on neatly finishing and assembling the lampshade for a polished, professional look. You will learn how to carefully apply fabric to a lampshade frame, achieving smooth, crisp edges. Aimée will guide you through assembling the integral lampholder fitting and finishing touches. TOOLS AND MATERIALS No sewing required! A large selection of fabrics will be available for you to choose from. All materials to make the shade and the electrical fitting are included. ADVISORY NOTE Lampshade making can be hard on the hands. Please consider this if you have hand or wrist issues.
