Terms and conditions
Orders are dispatched within 14 working days of receiving your online order (excludes weekends & Bank holidays). Delivery can take between 3-5 days. Delivery times are once the package has been dispatched which will be within 14 working days of an order being placed. Please be aware that due to Christmas and Coronavirus postage times can be longer than normal.
Some items are made to order and require 14 days to be made and then shipped. Please check individual items.
If you require something quickly, please contact before purchasing to see if it can be shipped express.
International shipping is not currently available. Please contact to see if individual makers are able to ship internationally and to find out rates.
Returns and Refunds
We hope that you’ll be very happy with your purchases, but if you wish to return something you need to let us know in writing no longer than 14 days after the date on which you received the products.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact and your order details and let us know why you are returning an item. You’ll then be sent a returns address and details of how to proceed.
Please return your item in good condition, with its original packaging within 14 working days from the date you received the products. Refund will not include the cost of return postage, unless the item was faulty or damaged in transit.
If you return goods, please use an insured method of despatch and obtain proof of posting. we can’t accept liability for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.
Please note that refunds to Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund regulations.
Some items - earrings - cannot be returned.
Every care will be taken to package your items securely, however in the unfortunate event of your goods arriving damaged, please send photographs of the damage and packaging by email for a full refund. Requests for a refund due to damages must be made within 5 working days. We cannot accept requests for a refund due to damages that were made after delivery unless there is a design flaw. You will need to provide proof of the flaw in your photographs.
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage of any products you send (or anyone instructed by you to send) to us and recommend all such products are insured and tracked when sent to us.
If you wish to cancel your order of an online purchase, please contact us as soon as possible and let us know your name, date of order and order content. If your parcel has already been sent please look at our returns policy, where you are liable for the cost of return postage.
We reserve the right to cancel purchases and orders for any reason prior to dispatch. If orders are cancelled for any reason, you will be refunded any monies paid in relation to these orders. Any cancellations due to unavailability will be refunded as soon as possible, and within 30 days of your order.
When you place your order you’ll be asked to provide your name, address, email address and telephone number (optional) so that we can fulfil your order. You'll also be asked to provide a name and address for shipping/delivery. The shipping/delivery name and address, and any specific message provided by you, will be given to the maker of the item ordered for the purpose of fulfilling your order. Your email address may also be given to the maker, but only for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
When you place your order you will also be asked if you would like your name and email address to be added to my mailing list. If you opt to join our mailing list we only use your details to tell you about selected news, any special offers, events, or any changes to our site. You can remove, change or update your contact and marketing preferences at any time by emailing us.

LAMPSHADE PRODUCT INFORMATION AND SAFETY
Hard lampshades: The PVC lampshade material used has been tested with the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test for fire resistance to comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
Handstitched lampshades: These are not covered by the BS EN 60598-1-2008 regulations. All of my handstitched shades in my online shop are treated with a water-based fire-proofing spray, which creates a flame retardant barrier on natural and synthetic fabrics and has a non-toxic, non-hazardous formulation.
Safety certificates from the manufacturers of the PVC lampshade material and the fire-proofing spray can be provided. If required please send me an email to request the information before you make an online purchase.
Recommendations for bulb wattage are provided on each lampshade listing. They are as follows:

Colours of the items are shown as accurately as possible on the website but because of varying computer settings the colours may differ on your computer screen. Returns will not be accepted if the colour is not exact. If you require colour matching, email me to ask for a sample of the fabric before making an online purchase.
